Empowering Teenagers

With more than four decades of experience working with high school students with diverse backgrounds, I have been instrumental in empowering teenagers. I teach them to think independently by understanding their priorities and creating an individualized plan to achieve short- and long-term goals.

My Expertise

I specialize in working with a wide range of teenagers from different backgrounds. This includes:

  • High school students
  • Inner City Youth
  • Kids living in rural North and South Carolina
  • Children in the foster care system

As a life coach for young adults, I understand the unique challenges that come with transitioning from high school to college and into adulthood. That's why I offer specialized One-on-One coaching for teens. I work closely with teenagers, teaching them the invaluable benefits of goal setting. This not only builds resilience but also equips them with the tools they need to navigate the unexpected challenges of high school, college, and beyond.

My Coaching Services

Research from reputable sources such as the Journal of Adolescent Health, the Journal of Community Psychology, and a Clinical Psychology review of 118 studies suggest that:

  • Engaging in positive youth development activities and mentoring programs is associated with increased resiliency among adolescents
  • Highly resilient teenagers tend to exhibit lower levels of depression and are less likely to engage in risky behavior
  • The presence of teachers, coaches, and mentors creates a support system for teens experiencing anxiety, stress, and trauma

As a Life Coach for Teens, my approach to teenage development involves providing a safe place for teenagers to have honest and open dialogue about their future with a certified professional.
